Meet The Pharmacists of Hanger Pharmacy & Wellness
Lance Idleman - Pharmacist
Lance has been a practicing pharmacist for 26 years, getting his start by graduating from the University of Oklahoma in 1997. His first job was at an independent pharmacy in his home town of Noble, OK. He quickly saw the positive impact that a pharmacist had on the community and knew that his calling was to be a pharmacist.
Lance enjoys working at Hanger Pharmacy & Wellness because it’s a small business that puts customer needs first and also allows him to do the same. He enjoys meeting patients and helping them with their health and wellness needs. He welcomes the opportunity to serve you and earn your trust. If Lance isn't in the pharmacy, you can find him with his family, at church, or watching the SOONERS.
Kara Gameon – Pharmacist in Charge
Kara grew up in Rockport, IN and has a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Midwestern University. After graduating from Pharmacy school in 2019, she completed one year of residency with Sullivan University and St. Matthews Community Pharmacy where she focused on patient care and drug abuse treatment for The Healing Place in Louisville, KY
Kara has been working for Hangers Pharmacy & Wellness since July 2020 and loves independent Pharmacy. She sees the positive impact independent Pharmacies have on the community and the personal relationships the Pharmacists can have with patients. When Kara isn’t at the Pharmacy, she is enjoying her time with her husband and their labradoodle, Loki. Also, in her free time, she loves to cook new recipes and get some exercise by clogging.
Michelle Riggs - Pharmacist
Michelle has known since she was a little girl that she wanted to follow in her father’s footsteps and become a pharmacist. Upon graduating from Purdue University, she had achieved her goal. For the past 22 years, she has not only enjoyed being a pharmacist, but also the feeling of helping her patients with personalized treatments for their specific medical issues. We have been lucky to have Michelle at our pharmacy for 7 years. She says the best thing about working here is being part of an independent “family” setting where we are more concerned about the care and needs of our patients than the bottom line. When Michelle isn’t at the pharmacy, she enjoys spending time with her family and children, volunteering at her children’s school, golfing, and even teaching a Kindergarten class at Northside Christian Church!
